A walk in Yangon, Myanmar

We're in Yangon! And one of the first things in the agenda was a downtown walk with Yangon Heritage Trust. And while my part of the trip was somewhat interrupted by a tired and increasingly whiny 3-year old and requests to "carrrrry", I managed to snap some shots of street scenes and their friendly inhabitants. For the most part, everyone seemed most amused and enchanted by said 3-year old with regular head pats and smiles.

Here's some of the highlights...

And that's just a look at downtown Yangon! Until next week, merry Christmas. We're off now to Ngapali beach, to eat lobster on the beach and have little access to wifi.

How do you like to spend your Xmas holidays - at home with family or world travelling?
